The Challenge
I made this logo for one of my friends who was studying mechanical engineering at the time. He was working on his own portfolio to showcase all of the work he created throughout his studies, and he needed a logo for it.
He knew I was getting started in my design journey so he asked me to come up with the logo for him. He gave me full creative freedom to come up with whatever design I wanted, but he did specify the colors he wanted to see.
This project was the first time I started off with my own sketch and ideas and brought them to life using Blender. It was challenging because I had only done hard-surface modeling in the past, so creating a bull in 3D was really challenging for me. Overall though, I was happy with how it came out.
Learning Experience
This project was a fantastic learning experience for me in Blender. I discovered and refined a variety of new techniques, such as simulating fire, sculpting soft surfaces, improving my metal material work, and refining my lighting setups.
I also got to experiment with my composition setup which helped improve the quality of my renders.
Overall, I was genuinely pleased with the final outcome, and it also received a lot of praise from my friend, who loved it just as much as I did.
